Guide To Floor Locations at the CSUS Library

The circulating collections are arranged by call number as indicated in the table below. If there is no prefix or code listed in front of the call number, you can go directly to the floor and wing indicated.

If there is a code such as re or ref for Reference you will find the material on the floor indicated by that code in the right column.  If you are in doubt, it's always a good idea to ask a Reference librarian.

Fo or f - Folio or oversize books. Call number indicates floor location.
Gov Docs or govtdoc - Government Documents. 2 NORTH, adjacent to Reference.
In - Index Area, on index tables, part of Reference Collection, 2 NORTH.
Ju or juv - Juvenile Collection. 2 SOUTH.
Li Audio - 1SOUTH, Library Media Center.
Li Video - 1SOUTH, Library Media Center.
LOWER LEVEL -Pre- 1980 bound Periodicals, CSUS Theses, low-use books, Quartos, Folios and some U. S. Census materials.
Map Room - 3 NORTH, Room 3021.
Mi - Microfiche, Microfilm,- Library Media Center.
Pd, Po, Pq, Pf - Inquire at Reference Desk.
Qu or q - Quarto, oversize books. Call number indicates floor location.
Re or ref - Reference Books. All Reference materials are located on 2 NORTH.
Ref Desk Coll - Inquire at Reference Desk.
Slide - 1 SOUTH, Library Media Center. [Slide Collection has its own classification system and can be searched on EUREKA. ]
